In the second episode of my Alone in the Mountains series we are going to Rila mountains and especially the oldest hut in Bulgaria - Skakavitsa hut. In the high parts of the mountains it's still winter so I am going to do a trail run in barefoot shoes in the snow. Afterwards I am taking you with me in the heaven of the hot mineral water - Sapareva banya, where the mineral water is really, really hot, exactly 103 °C  (217.4 °F).

I love doing solo adventures in the mountains during all seasons because I truly believe that nature is our true home. I balance my adventures with slow and mindful living.
