June 2022 saw us sailing from Southampton to Norway and Iceland on Princess Cruises royal class ship, Sky Princess. Considering the sunshine on our preceding sea days, it felt apt to wake up to misty and mysterious weather on our first day in Norway.

Skjolden is located at the innermost point of Norway's longest fjord, the Sognefjorden. We spent the day wandering up to Åsafossen Waterfall.
