????️ THE LONG ROAD TO NORDKAPP 2027 | THE ROUTE REVEALED!

5,000+ miles. Eight countries. 24 days. One motorcycle. One incredible journey.

In this week's episode of The Long Road to Nordkapp, I'm revealing the planned route for my solo motorcycle expedition from Plymouth, UK, to Nordkapp, Norway, and back in June 2027.

On 12 June 2027, I'll set off from Plymouth Hoe on my 2021 Kawasaki Versys 1000 GT, beginning a 24-day motorcycle adventure through Europe and Scandinavia.

But this isn't simply about reaching Nordkapp. It's about the roads, the challenges, the people, the places of remembrance and everything that happens along the way.

????️ THE ROUTE TO NORDKAPP

The journey begins in Plymouth, heading towards the Channel Tunnel before travelling through France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.

From Kiel, I'll take the ferry to Oslo, Norway, where the real Scandinavian adventure begins.

I'll then head north along Norway's E6, travelling through spectacular landscapes, crossing the Arctic Circle and eventually reaching the famous Nordkapp globe monument.

But reaching Nordkapp is only half the challenge.

The return journey takes me south through Sweden, onwards through Denmark and Copenhagen, and eventually back across Europe to Plymouth.

Throughout the expedition, I'll be travelling solo, wild camping and carrying everything I need on the motorcycle.

????️ RIDING FOR VETERANS IN ACTION

As an RAF veteran, this expedition has a purpose beyond the motorcycle adventure.

I'm undertaking The Long Road to Nordkapp in support of Veterans in Action, helping raise awareness of their work supporting veterans and their families.

The route also incorporates military remembrance stops, including Arnhem, Hamburg, Kiel and Narvik, where I'll take time to remember those who served and sacrificed.
