How we travelled from Bodø to Lofoten

2021 has been a special year, After almost a year and half of partial lockdown.. we could travel again... However, we decided to stay in Norway and go further north for Summer holidays. We will travel to best places in Lofoten and show you how to spend a day of layover in the city of Bodø. The Lofoten Islands are characterised by their mountains and peaks, sheltered inlets, stretches of seashore and large virgin areas which made up for an incredible road trip.

Before heading over to the Lofoten we landed in Bodø where we roamed around the streets looking at one of the best streetarts we have experienced. The Stormen library in Bodø harbour is worth a visit. We spent coupld of hours there reading and browsing through books we had read in our childhood. The big windows gives a perfect view of the harbour. Then it was time to take the ferry to the Lofoten. Besides all the Instagram Hotspots on the Lofoten we checked out the various beaches, small vilaages and tasted one of the best cinnamon roll in the world.
