Former All England champion Lee Zii Jia has climbed 15 places to world No. 67 following an unbeaten run at last week's Thomas Cup.
Despite this rise, he faces a difficult path back into top-tier draws as entry lists for upcoming World Tour tournaments are already fixed.
Zii Jia is set for the Thailand Open qualifying rounds in mid-May but currently remains on the reserve list for the Malaysia Masters.
The ranking boost follows his three victories in Denmark, including a win over Japan’s world No. 21 Koki Watanabe.
However, his overall points gain was limited because the Badminton World Federation system awards fewer points for wins against lower-ranked opponents.
Meanwhile, men's doubles pair Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik held their world No. 2 spot, while women's doubles pair Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah also remained steady in second.
