The earthquake yesterday occurred in the Krísuvík volcanic system and it's likely a part of the tectonic tension that outlines the plate boundaries extremely well these days. And again, i still belive that the Krísuvik system is next to go, although we might have to wait for months or even years. But the former residents of Grindavik wants to return, and it's no surprise to me. This event will come to and end at some point in time and the slowely but surely decreasing magma inflow is telling them that this is moving into the right direction, although we might have chapters left that put our patience to the test.
