Our Tromsø adventure continues with an afternoon exploring downtown Tromsø, Norway!

We begin by taking the local bus back into the city center, followed by a walk through Tromsø’s colorful streets. Our first destination is the historic Mack Brewery quarter and Ølhallen, which has welcomed locals and travelers since 1928 and is known as Tromsø’s oldest pub. Today, its 72 taps feature beers from Mack and other Norwegian breweries.

While relaxing at Ølhallen, we enjoyed dinner delivered from BurgerMan Tromsø, a local burger restaurant known for using locally sourced meat, fresh bread, homemade dressings, and even regional choices such as reindeer.

After dinner, we continued through downtown to the Troll Museum Tromsø, Norway’s first museum devoted entirely to trolls and fairy tales. The museum combines Norwegian folklore, original artwork, storytelling, and augmented-reality features that bring parts of the displays to life. We’re sharing a small preview while leaving plenty for future visitors to discover themselves.
