In the beautiful Basque, Bilbao awaits; with a short shuttle and a train from the port’s gates. Enjoy the town’s old charm, with gastronomies abound.

Bonjour ????????! In picturesque France, Le Verdon welcomed us. Bordeaux was an option, but we took a shuttle to the quaint village of Soulac instead, where wine was divine, with freshly baked bread. Felt like time stood still in a peaceful atmosphere.

French treat continued the next day, with a trip to La Rochelle, via the ship-provided shuttle.

A day at sea followed, with entertainment onboard!

Ljmuiden, Amsterdam was next, which is far from the city center. But the efficient public transport system took us to the amazing Zaanse Schans where historic wooden windmills stood the test of time. ????????

Penultimate Zeebrugge, is the gateway to amazing Belgium ????????. A short tram and bus ride took us to beautiful Bruges, wandering in the beautiful town, and indulging in waffles, chocolates, and beer was divine. Oh, the square with the bell tower is also equally impressive ????

Alas, Le Havre, France. Bittersweet, as we disembarked. The chaos of the rush of passengers jockeying for positions at the ship’s gangway to their next sojourns. We were Paris-bound; in the city of love, to experience the inimitable charm, one more time!
