Have you heard of a Therapy Cat? This one has special needs, too.

Earthquakes in Japan have killed at least 55 people and caused major damage across Ishikawa prefecture. Bryan Lynn reports.

Next, Juanita Mengel and her tortoiseshell cat, Lola-Pearl share a special bond. Both are amputees. Now the pair are visiting hospitals, nursing homes and schools as part of Pet Partners, a group that specializes in certifying pets as therapy animals. Faith Pirlo has the story.

Then, it's time for the LE Education Report. Dan Novak explores the current state of early childhood education. Afterwards, he and Ashley chat in the studio about the word "advantage."

And, finally, we present the LE Lesson of the Day. John Russell shares a report from Bryan Lynn about the huge growth in opium production in Myanmar. Then, John teaches about an important word in the report: overtaken.

Dan and Ashley close the show.
