Lahaina carries a deep historical legacy. It was once the capital of the Kingdom of Hawaii before the royal capital was moved to Honolulu. The town's history is evident in its architecture, with well-preserved buildings from the 19th century, when Lahaina was a bustling whaling port and a hub for sailors, traders, and adventurers. Lahaina is famous for its massive banyan tree, which was planted in 1873. It has grown to cover almost an entire acre and is a popular gathering place for events and festivals.

Our hearts are deeply saddened by the tragic destruction of Lahaina. My wife and I were fortunate enough to visit this beautiful town 2 years ago. Wishing the people of Lahaina and everyone affected by the devastating wildfires strength and comfort during these difficult times. We are praying for you????
