Tucked away from the Ring Road crowds, this magnificent off-grid location feels like Iceland’s very own Shangri-La—a tranquil, secret valley where I could easily spend hours taking in the dramatic Nordic scenery. To finish the overland journey, we head north to a relaxing geothermal spa that provides the perfect ending to an unforgettable day.
