How to spend 1 day in Reykjavik ???????? ???? Start with breakfast at Brauð & Co, an extremely popular bakery thats developed a reputation for its delicious cinnamon rolls. ????‍♀️Next, join a free walking tour with CityWalk, it lasts for 2.5 hours and will take you to Reykjavik's main sights. There's two time slots each day - 10:30am and 13:30pm. I'd recommend booking onto the 10:30am slot, straight after your breakfast. That way, if there's anything you learn about on the tour that you want to add into your itinerary, you have the time to do it. Although it’s advertised as free, of course you should pay what you think it’s worth at the end. ???? After your walking tour, take a wander down Rainbow Street, where you'll find loads of interesting shops, cafes, and restaurants. ⛪️ Once you reach the top of Rainbow Street, you'll arrive at Hallgrímskirkja Church. The design takes inspiration from Iceland's basalt columns, like the ones you'll see on Reynisfjara Beach. Entrance to the church is free but I'd recommend paying the 4,000 ISK/£8/$10 fee to take the elevator to the top for stunning panoramic views over Reykjavik. ☀️ Next, head to the Sun Voyager statue, located on the waterfront in Reykjavik, with stunning views of the sea and mountains behind it. ???? From the Sun Voyager, you can walk along the waterfront to the Harpa Concert Hall. This impressive building overlooks the water and its' one of Reykjavik's most beautiful buildings. ???? Head to Le Kock for lunch, located just across the road from Harpa. They do delicious burgers, wings and sides. ???? Reykjavik has a lot of different museums and you won't be able to see them all in one day, so I'd recommend choosing just one. I visited Whales of Iceland, which unsurprisingly, is all about the whales that live, or pass through, Iceland's waters. ????‍♀️ Then, head to the Sky Lagoon for sunset, located just 15 minutes from Reykjavik city centre. It's famous for its 7 step ritual that will take you through saunas, scrubs and cold plunges! ???? Once you're back in the city and freshened up, it's time for dinner and drinks at Skal! - a michelin guide restaurant that's been named the “best goddamn restaurant” by Reykjavík Grapevine four years in a row! #iceland #icelandtravel #icelandtrip #icelandadventure #icelandphotography #icelandroadtrip #icelandlove #icelandsecret #icelandexplored #icelandlandscape #unlimitediceland #everydayiceland #visiticeland???????? #traveliceland #exploreiceland #discovericeland #loves_iceland #icelandtiktok #icelandicnature #epiciceland #hiddeniceland #icelandwinter #icelandadvice #reykjavik #reykjavikiceland Best things to do in Reykjavik, Reykjavik itinerary, Iceland itinerary, Where to go in Reykjavik, Things to see in Reykjavik, What to do in Reykjavik, Best places in Reykjavik, Best restaurants in Reykjavik
