Join with me as I show you - at 2 a.m. - how my 2lbs. of steamed shrimp from the iconic Joe Patti's Seafood in Pensacola made it home to North Port, Fla.

These are probably the most expensive shrimp I've eaten - calculating the fee to check them on the plane - but oh, so worth it!

I thought they’d hand me a simple bag with gel packs… nope! Instead, I ended up with a full travel setup: gel packs, a Styrofoam cooler, and a cardboard box I had to check on Delta. They even had me sign a liability waiver for transporting perishables.
