Simple Gratitude Habits You Can Try
* The “Thankful Stitch”: Once a day, pause your knitting and name one thing you’re grateful for.
* Gratitude Row Marker: Every time you place your progress keeper, think of one person you appreciate.
* Morning Moment: Before you knit in the morning (or grab your coffee), take three slow deep breaths and say “thank you” for one thing you’re looking forward to today.
* Evening Reflection: When you put your knitting away at night, ask:“What good happened today — even if it was small?”
Why This Works
* Gratitude trains the brain to notice what’s working, not what’s missing.
* Over time, it increases contentment, patience, and peace — qualities that make us kinder to ourselves and others.
