My dream was to see the Northern Lights in Iceland, so I planned a 4 day trip in December which is the best time for visibility, but also the coldest! And I didn't expect a winter storm that changed most of my travel plans.... It was stuck in Reykjavik for 1,5 day before I could continue my trip to the Golden Circle, the Southern Coast and to see the Northern Light, the Aurora Borealis. It was a real artic adventure with beautiful nature, friendly people and interesting tradition (trying the Greenland Shark!). If you want to visit Iceland in winter this video can help to find the best things to do in Iceland.
