*JRRide#12 – THE ATLANTIC OCEAN RIDE* *EPISODE 6 | From Kristiansund to Geiranger on 7 Motorcycles*

*Norway still had more to show us.*

After experiencing the Atlantic Ocean Road, Day 5 of our Norwegian motorcycle adventure took us from *Kristiansund towards Geiranger* — through rain, tunnels, ferries, mountain roads, waterfalls and one incredible experience above the mountains.

The day began with grey skies and the possibility of rain. As we left Kristiansund, the scenery kept changing — forests, mountains, tunnels, bridges and winding roads making every kilometre feel different.

Our day included:

????️ Riding through changing Norwegian weather
????️ Leaving Kristiansund towards Åndalsnes
⛴️ Ferry crossing with the motorcycles
???? Scenic stops and group photographs
???? Riding the *Romsdalsgondolen Cable Car*
????️ Incredible views from *Nesaksla*
????️ Lunch high above Åndalsnes
???? An unexpected live rock band performance
????️ Mountain hairpins and winding roads
???? A spectacular Norwegian waterfall
???? More unforgettable motorcycle photographs
???? Arriving in Geiranger
???? An unexpected pool-table showdown
???? Ending another incredible day together

### ???? RIDE ABOVE THE MOUNTAINS — ROMSDALSGONDOLEN

For a group that had spent days experiencing Norway from the motorcycle saddle, this was something completely different.

We parked the motorcycles and boarded the *Romsdalsgondolen*, Norway's first cable car to reach a mountain summit.

The 45-passenger gondola climbs from *Åndalsnes to Nesaksla*, taking you high above the town and the surrounding Romsdalen landscape.

As we climbed higher, the views opened up beneath us — mountains, valleys, blue waters and the town becoming smaller with every metre.

????️ *The road was below us.*
???? *The fjords stretched into the distance.*
???? *And for once, we were experiencing Norway without a motorcycle.*

At the top, we stopped for lunch, enjoyed the views and simply took a break from the road.

Then, just as we were getting ready to leave, a rock band started playing nearby.

An unexpected moment.

An incredible setting.

And another memory added to the journey.

### INTO THE MOUNTAINS

Back on the motorcycles, the adventure continued.

Hairpin after hairpin carried us through the mountains until we encountered a massive waterfall.

The bikes were parked.

Cameras came out.

And we walked closer to experience the sound and power of the water surrounded by the Norwegian mountains.

Some places are difficult to describe.

You simply have to experience them.

### ???? ARRIVING IN GEIRANGER

By the time we reached *Geiranger*, the intensity of the day's ride had finally started to settle.

Helmets off.

Luggage into the rooms.

And the team back together.

The evening was simple — drinks, dinner, stories from the road and plenty of laughter.

Then Mr. Rao found himself at the pool table with locals and other guests… and suddenly the evening had its own entertainment. ????????

After another long day on the Norwegian roads, there was nowhere else we needed to be.Just together.

### ???????? ONE MORE RIDING DAY

Five days of riding had taken us through some incredible parts of Norway.

But there was still one final riding day ahead.And one more chance to experience the roads, mountains and landscapes of Norway before the journey came to an end.
