Our trip:
We head north through Denmark’s Jutland, slip past its endless construction corridors, and reach the windswept shores of Hirtshals and the Skagerrak before taking the ferry to Bergen. From there, we climb mountain passes, follow the Atlantic coast, weave through the dizzying curves of Trollstigen, and return south across Valdresflye.
This documentary-style film follows our journey in our Fiat Ducato campervan — no fixed plan, no fixed schedule, a few mishaps along the way, and our Irish Terrier Cuinn always nudging us forward.
Shot over several weeks, it explores remote mountain roads, coastal fishing villages, and iconic routes like the Atlantic Road. It’s a story about freedom, simplicity, and the quiet awe of sleeping by the sea or waking to fog-draped valleys.

Ebook Description:
This is a book for those who roll through the landscape with wide-open eyes and windows half-down, just to let a little more of the world in.
For anyone who prefers birdsong to a neighbor sipping BBQ starter fluid like vintage Merlot — at ten in the morning, in nothing but socks and ambition.

Whether you're new to vanlife or a road-worn veteran with battle scars from faulty awnings and grey water valves, you're welcome here.
You don’t need a 4x4 or a composting toilet — just a love for freedom, uncertainty, and the occasional breathtaking view after a gravel detour.

This guide focuses on Norway’s South-West - a region shaped by wind, stone, and water. We take you through five scenic routes, handpicked for their rhythm, beauty, and character.

Each chapter offers:
A poetic intro to set the scene
A practical route with stops, detours, hikes, and pause-worthy moments
A curated list of overnight spots: wild, simple, or serviced
Local eateries worth your time — no fuss, just flavor
Smart tips on fuel, ferries, shopping, or road customs

What truly sets this guide apart is its multimedia depth.
Every place comes with a clickable hyperlink — to Google Maps, websites, and videos. You’ll also find a QR code linking to a full interactive map of the entire journey. It’s a book, but also a travel companion that saves you time, taps, and guesswork.

This isn’t a glossy brochure. It’s built from real road trips, taken by us, filmed and lived — complete with muddy boots, wrong turns, and late-night campfire meals. Written in our Camper Chronicles style: honest, poetic, and a bit rough around the edges.

In short: This is your camper van guide to Norway’s wild side - crafted with care, tested by time, and held together by duct tape and coffee.

Now, turn the page.
The road is waiting.
