Nomad Van Life in the Arctic: A huge storm is coming in and I make a significant error of judgement in choosing my camping spot to stay safe with the van. Its gets bad and at 3 in the morning I am forced to leave.
I visit the northernmost viking town in the world, which is 1000 years old this year, and I go to the northernmost point you can get to with a vehicle in Europe, looking across the ocean towards the north pole.
Its the end of summer and the last night of midnight sun this far north passes in a storm, we are now heading into autumn.
Its probably the hardest rain summer I have been through, every episode has had a rain storm it would seem, and I am getting worn out and making camping mistakes I think. In the end the errors I make in this season are not deadly, but I better not be worn out when -40° hits as I am visiting the coldest places in Norway and riding out Blizzards and extreme snow storms.

Arctic summer rain storms and severe low-pressure systems are primarily called Arctic cyclones or Intense Summer Arctic Cyclones, sometimes also a European Monsoon (more commonly known as the return of the westerlies)

This is Arctic Life in a van, pure van living off-grid, alone in solitude and freedom. 1.5 hours of remote Norwegian Xplorer summer nomad van living.

My van is a Fiat Ducato, FWD with Nokian Hakkapalitta studless Winter Tires. This is the same as a Ram Promaster in America - USA and Canada.

About me: I am a Norwegian adventurer and wilderness explorer. My youtube channel focus on winter van life, survival in blizzards and snow storms and extreme temperatures. Outdoor wilderness adventures and exploration, backpacking, hiking, canyoneering, skiing, climbing and mountaineering. Nights spent in a tent, alone or with friends. From the snow covered mountains and misty fjords of Norway and Scandinavia to the remote plateaus of Yellowstone and the debts of the red canyons of Utah to the summit of Mt Whitney and the heart of Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park in the USA. I love the Wilderness! Email is under "For business inquiries", for general questions please comment on a video, I try to answer everyone.
