Agosto 1987. Due amici ventitreenni partirono per un lungo viaggio fino a Capo Nord, una Yamaha XT550, una tenda e due sacchi a pelo.

Senza la tecnologia di oggi, con pochi soldi e con una moto e un equipaggiamento poco adatti a un viaggio di 10.000 chilometri, attraversarono l'Europa fino all'estremo nord della Norvegia, sfidando il caldo torrido, i nubifragi, le nebbie, i freddi intensi e le inevitabili disavventure del viaggio.

Questo documentario è stato realizzato utilizzando quasi esclusivamente le fotografie originali scattate durante il viaggio. Le immagini sono state restaurate e migliorate per ricostruire nel modo più fedele possibile l'atmosfera di quell'estate del 1987, accompagnate dalla narrazione dei due protagonisti.

August 1987. Two twenty-three-year-old friends set off on a long journey to the North Cape, carrying little more than a Yamaha XT550, a tent and two sleeping bags.

Without today's technology, with very little money and with a motorcycle and camping equipment hardly suited to a journey of more than 10,000 kilometres, they crossed Europe to the northernmost reaches of Norway, through fjords, mountains, sunshine, scorching heat, torrential rain, fog, bitter cold and a fair share of mishaps along the way.

This documentary was created using almost exclusively the original photographs taken during the trip. The images have been restored and reworked to recreate as faithfully as possible the atmosphere of that summer of 1987, accompanied by the narration of the two protagonists.
