Walking from the Arctic to Africa, Hampus begins an incredible journey from Nordkapp, Norway, to the next continent — all to raise awareness for gut diseases.

Hampus has ulcerative colitis, a chronic bowel disease, and is taking on this extreme solo challenge together with Mag-Tarmfonden to help raise both awareness and money for people living with gut disease.

The journey could take a year or more, with long stretches between towns, injuries, back pain, knee problems, storms, loneliness, and countless unexpected challenges along the way.

But Hampus is determined to keep going, listen to his body, and prove how far stubbornness, courage, and purpose can take you.
