I packed my Suzuki Jimny, hit the road to Helsinki, and started driving north – three weeks, one car, one roof tent, and the goal of reaching the North Cape.

This first part of the journey takes me through Finland: endless forests, quiet lakes, and the surreal beauty of the midnight sun. Along the way, I share my first camping spots, the freedom (and challenges) of traveling solo, and what it feels like to live on the road with nothing but a small 4x4 and a trailer.

For me, this trip is not just about getting from A to B – it’s about slowing down, embracing the silence, and discovering what it means to be truly present while heading north.
