The Philadelphia Flyers, coming off a tough loss against the Anaheim Ducks, are now set to face the Washington Capitals. The Flyers are coming off a 5-3 loss to the Ducks and have lost two out of their last three games. Before the Ducks, the Flyers split the home and home with the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Capitals, who are playing host to the Flyers, are currently sitting in the second Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference. The Capitals are coming into this game as winners of their last three games against the Lightning, Penguins, and Bruins. The Flyers will clearly have their work cut out for them in the game.

The NHL's regular season is quickly coming to a close at the end of April, and a lot of Flyers fans can’t wait for it to be over. Other fan bases around the league are thinking otherwise. Some teams are still battling for playoff spots, while some are battling for positioning. Teams to keep an eye on over the next couple of weeks are the New York Rangers and the Carolina Hurricanes. Also, keep an eye on the Vegas Golden Knights, who are currently on the outside looking in only two points back of the Stars for the second Wild Card spot and two points behind the LA Kings for a divisional spot in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Sure is going to be a wild finish to the NHL Regular Season.
