E-Ferry is a project involving the design, building and managing of a fully electric-powered ‘green’ ferry that can sail without producing CO2 emissions. It promotes energy-efficient, zero air pollution, free waterborne transportation for island communities, coastal zones inhabitants and inland waterways, in Europe and beyond.

Τhe overall objective of the E-Ferry is to apply an extremely energy-efficient design concept. It want to demonstrate that a 100% electric, emission-free, medium sized ferry can be used in a full-scale operation over long distances.
