Scene Twenty-Two | Driving South from Nordkapp — Road Whispers follows the same winter road as the previous chapter, but from a completely different place inside the journey.

This time the camera remained inside the car, looking forward through the windshield as I left the Nordkapp convoy parking area and continued south. For the first part of the drive, strong wind pushed loose snow across the road, sometimes covering it almost as quickly as it cleared. Slowly, the weather began to settle and the landscape opened into long white stretches, distant water and a sky that seemed to change every few minutes.

From inside the car, everything felt quieter and more enclosed. The dashboard lights, the windshield and the steady movement of the road became part of the view, while low music played throughout the drive. I had planned to continue toward Senja, but after around an hour and a half I stopped again at Sortvik Rastplass — the same place where the previous chapter had ended. trtIt was the same road, but it didn't feel like the same journey.
