The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund and the Information and Analytics Center of the Project Office for the Development of the Arctic (PORA) are holding an online round-table discussion on the topic “The Northern Sea Route: the International Transport Corridor and Its Capacity.”

We are expecting the experts from the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom (the official Northern Sea Route infrastructure operator), as well as russian and foreign experts in international economics, shipping and maritime transport, international relations, and international law to participate in the meeting and share their opinions.

Preliminary list of topics for discussion:
– the possibility and prospects of arranging a regular navigation line via the Northern Sea Route;
– legal aspects of using the Northern Sea Route for international transit;
– the global foreign politics agenda and its influence on the Northern Sea Route development;
– the competitiveness and specifications of transportation routes via the Arctic.
