Iain Findlay | Iain has played a major part in my aviation career, he employed me at SA Express in 2010, he remained in managerial positions throughout my tenure at the airline.

South African Express Airways went through many ups and downs, not only financially but culturally. The airline's brand was weakened by various factors and shareholder support diminished somewhat over the years. The various departments struggled to keep up with world's best practice company standards however the Flight Ops Department of which Iain was a leading figure throughout always maintained a high level of discipline, cohesiveness and standards. In truth Iain's department and team punched well above its weight and never once wavered in maintaining the highest standards of airline safety. I will go one step further and say, had it not been for Iain and his own high standards matched with the highest work ethic I have seen of any individual then SA Express may not have boasted its unblemished safety record of which it still maintains.
