As the U.S. increases investments in renewable energy to combat climate change, it's critical that we ensure that these projects protect birds and other wildlife, and benefit communities.

Wind turbines alone kill more than half a million birds each year, but these deaths can be minimized by improving siting practices and focusing on lower impact renewables. Distributed solar energy is one alternative that also creates jobs, and can provide energy independence to low- and middle-income communities.

The experts in this webinar will discuss bird-smart practices for wind energy development, the vast potential of distributed solar to build a more equitable energy system, and climate change's impact on birds.
