We finally left Cape Town and headed southeast. We reached Nordkapp in Norway several years ago and so it seemed right to reach the Southern Cape as well. We then headed for the Swartberg Pass. What a stunning ride.

Alkebulan - Safari So Good, is the second leg of our Round the World trip - Southern Africa. The first leg was Ice 2 Fire - Prudhoe Bay to Ushuaia (see playlist).

The journey started on 1st August 2023 and we’re still on the road.

We sold everything (and I mean everything) to realise our dream of riding around the world on our two Yamaha T7s.

It was a rocky road of many ups and downs to reach the start. We dealt with breast cancer and broken ankles amongst other things, but we never stopped Chasing the Dream. The dream is now happening and we can't quite believe that we're on this journey. It's very surreal.
