Day 24 of my Solo Road Trip to the North Cape???? Woke up to rain drumming on the roof (so cozy!), then drove into Lofoten through what felt like a hundred roadworks. Somewhere along the way I found myself in the middle of an animal exchange????

Spent the afternoon in Svolvær between rain showers: fish factories, a hotel with half an island to itself, the poshest bathroom I’ve ever used, and a sculpture park I’m still trying to make sense of. Got completely soaked, paid for the most expensive fuel of the trip, and grabbed the very last camp spot in a never-ending rainstorm. Dinner was chips and crackers, but it was still a pretty cool first day in Lofoten :)
