ARCTIC LIFE ALONE: I Almost Gave Up Saving My Van Life: Is this Island My Way Out?

I might have found my way out to continue my Arctic Life Alone on this remote island, maybe this is the place that will save my van life after being so frustrated with the previous location that is being ruined by over-tourism. Living in a van is for me a search for peace and solitude, maybe I found my spot, its gorgeous! Arctic solitude at its finest. I hope!

The Arctic Life in summer is a huge contrast, its wild and majestic and brutal in its own way.
Not like surviving an extreme blizzard alone on an arctic mountain, or like a heavy snow storm in the
cabin in the woods, not like the -40° in the borderlands, or the -71° survival that some claim, but heavy rain storms and fierce winds paired with massive storm waves rule these barren, majestic lands. This week the weather is amazing on the other hand, I might even go for a hike!

The challenge these days is finding solitude for an off-grid lifestyle. I made the grave mistake of going to Lofoten, and finally after a lot small annoyances it gets to much, something snapped and I have to run away and search for peace somewhere else. I didnt feel ok, I would have loved to stay around, but this time I had to leave fast and find somewhere else.

To be clear, I have nothing against tourism and other campers in vans and RVs, but over-mass-tourism becomes too much for me.

Chasing solitude, dealing with stormy weather, and trying to understand why I keep coming back to a place I knew would disappoint me, but now it is different!
